School Photos

It was great to have a sunny day for our school photo day. Photos can be purchased online at www.msp.com.au using the unique shoot key on the sheet sent home already. If you have lost your shoot key, please contact the office who will be able to provide it. Orders can be made until 1 September. Orders after that time will incur a $30 fee.

On photo day speciality group images (eg Netball, Faction Captains) were taken at your school.
These images can be viewed and purchased at a unique website, which is DIFFERENT to where you order the portraits and class photos online.

1. To place your Order online simply go to https://mspphotography.shootproof.com/
2. Click Specials 2020, then select the album titled: St Michael’s School Bassendean Specialist Groups – 2020
   3. You will then be required to enter a password to view the Album. The password for this MCHDJF20
3. Please ensure that you use your child’s name at the checkout
4. The images you are viewing are uncropped and will be cropped to fit to a 10x8 print (as per the first image in your gallery, a sample of layout & colour)

• The online orders will be open until midnight on Thursday, September 10, 2020 – for the Bulk Pricing Offer
• The Bulk Pricing Offer is $20 per print and these will be delivered to the school BY CLASS GROUP
• After the $20 pricing expires, the photos will remain available online, but the photos are now at a cost of $35 per image and delivered to a preferred address.

Learning Snapshots

In Year 4 this week, students were learning about area in Mathematics. After designing pixel people in Seesaw on a grid, each student then had to calculate the area of their person. Great work Year 4!

 

Art on Display

The front office is infested! Come and see the wonderful display of creative bug boxes from our Visual Art program on display.

 

Remote Learning Memoir

To acknowledge the time that students spent at home during the period of remote learning in 2020, we are compiling a small memoir. To assist us, we would love to receive any photographs that you may have taken while your child/ren were learning at home earlier this year. If you could please send these through to your class teacher or directly to jemima.saunders@cewa.edu.au, we would be very grateful.

Thank you to all families who have already sent theirs through, we will be very excited to share this memoir with you in due course.

 

Athletics Field Events Day

Today students participated in their Athletics Field events on the BI. Thank you to all families who were able to assist Miss Brescacin. Some helpers are still needed for the upcoming Track Events on Wednesday September 9^th. Please contact nat.brescacin@cewa.edu.au if you are able to help this event run smoothly.
