Year 6 Media Ministry

It has been another hard-working week for everyone. Packed with fun and adventure. This week was full of interesting and thoroughly enjoyable events such as book week, open night, year six dance practice… Mrs Galos took some time to read a wonderful book to each class; this was an exciting addition to our book week festival. We all loved gazing at each year’s hard work at open night and thought this was a brilliant week.

Recently Mrs Rosa has been coming to St Michael’s to teach the year six class special dances for the end of year dinner dance. Again, we all enjoyed our lesson and learnt new dances and we can’t wait for our next lesson. Our Edudance is going extremely well. Ms Voicey has been doing a wonderful job at teaching us the dances for our song. We have progressed majorly in only a few weeks and are hanging out to do the concert!

 The teachers and students were working hard this week as it was open night. We thank all the parents and carers who came to open night to look at every talented St Michaels student’s work, from long biographies to detailed art works. This was an awestriking night and we hope you all enjoyed it! Every class put in all their effort to make this a special night and decorate their classroom beautifully. Good job to everyone that participated in this evening!

Book week was amazing. The book parade was a blast; everyone looked so astonishing today. It was awesome to see all their creative ideas and different books that had been read. The library was filled with heaps of interesting books for children to buy and useful stationery and posters at the book fair! This book week was organised so well and everyone at St Michael’s really appreciate the teachers and helpers that put together this wonderful week for us and all the activities that came with it!
