Re-opening of the Library

On Tuesday we were delighted to re-open our Library for students to borrow books after a long closure due to remote learning and COVID-19 restrictions. Students were once again able to explore genres, be inspired by new texts that peak their interests and to share a love of literature together.

A reminder for families that Library books that are not renewed for an additional week, need to be returned on Mondays so that they can be disinfected ready for the following day of borrowing.

Onsite Student Placement Program

This week St Michael’s welcomed Bridget Vitulano, a Year 12 student from La Salle College who will be joining us on Fridays until the end of Term 3. Bridget’s onsite placement will be supporting the K-1 classrooms for the duration of her work experience. Bridget attended St Michael’s as a primary school student so it is lovely to warmly welcome her back in this new capacity.
