Year 5 Zoo Excursion

On Tuesday, the Year 5 class travelled by train and ferry to the Perth Zoo to learn about animal adaptations. Breaking into three groups, the wandered the zoo and discussed the physical and behavioural adaptations. During the day, we were treated to an educational session with Nicole to learn more about how animals have changed over time to help them survive. We also got to pet Homer the Woma who felt quite smooth. It was a big day but everyone had a great time. Thank you to Mrs Matson for assisting us for the day and the students for the way they represented St Michael’s.
