Dear Parents and Caregivers

I trust you have had a good week. On Thursday we held our 2021 Kindy orientation sessions and it was lovely to be able to welcome many new families to the school! Thank you once again for all the positive word of mouth advertising that you are continuing to provide which is attracting many new families to our beautiful school.

Confirmation

As our Year 6 students prepare to receive the sacrament of Confirmation this Sunday (8 November), please keep them and their families in your prayers.

Remembrance Day

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will not be holding a Remembrance Day service for all students. Instead, a small number of senior students will be participating in the Town of Bassendean service on Wednesday and teachers will highlight the meaning and importance of this special occasion in class.

Parking on Hamilton St

We have received a complaint from a resident on Hamilton Street regarding parents parking on the side of the road and blocking the footpath – this is a safety concern as, at a very busy time of the day, young children are forced to walk on the road to get around cars blocking the footpath. Please ensure that all parents give courtesy and consideration to the residents of Hamilton Street and use the designated parking bays. Thank you for your support with this.

School Banking Co-ordinator Required for 2021

We are in need of a co-ordinator for school banking in 2021, otherwise this initiative will be unable to continue. If you are interested, please contact the school office.

AGM

Don’t forget our upcoming AGM being held on Monday 16 November at 6pm in the hall. At this meeting we will provide summaries of the school activities for 2020, vote in School Advisory Council (school board) and P & F executive members and present the 2021 school budget. All parents are welcome to attend.
