It has been a real joy to see the smiles on students faces as they are returning to school. The social connection that they have with their classmates has obviously been missed very much! After having a long period of time at home most children are eager to be back at school, but some will also miss being at home and might take some extra time to adjust. It is important that we see this as a period of transition and give our children some extra understanding, but also start to re-establish some routines. It might not be smooth time for all families, but there are some things that you can do to help your child adjust back to daily school life.
