Year 6 Media Ministry

Welcome back students and parents to a new action-packed Term 4. We have a lot of things going on and here are a few thing that are happening: next week we will have Book Fair going on, Open Night which is on Wednesday and on Friday we will have the book week parade.

During the first week of school, on Thursday, the Year Six class all participated in a dancing lesson with Ms Rosa. Ms Rosa is preparing us for the end of year, Year Six dinner dance. We had a wonderful experience learning new dances. For our warm-up, we performed an original dance called the Nutbush, next we learnt the Cha Cha. We made heaps of progress in our first lesson of the term. Be sure to practice your Cha Cha at home, Year Sixes!

The Year 6 class went to Mrs. Sandon’s house on an excursion as it has won many awards for being energy efficient and sustainable. We heard a talk about energy efficient houses. Mrs Sandon was kind enough to let us into her lovely home. She was also very kind to let us try her tomatoes that she grows.

This term’s uniform is the summer uniform items. For the girls it is the summer dress and white socks and for the boys it is the white shirt with grey shorts and grey socks. Boys make sure to keep your shirts tucked in.
